IdleAire Technologies

In 2005 Daniel started a partnership with a new company, IdleAire Technologies. IdleAire developed a technology to be installed in truck stops and travel centers.

This technology both reduced truck emissions and brought convenience to the trucking world. IdleAire accomplished this by installing a window-mounted module which delivered heat, AC, CATV, telephone, and internet services into the truck cab.

These projects exposed a new range of Daniel Utilities capabilities. As general contractor, Daniel Utility performed underground boring/trenching, sitework, electrical, communications, concrete and pavement construction for the projects, as well as coordinating installations with the power and telephone companies around the country.
